Wire Mesh and Roll Fencing
Supplied in rolls, woven wire mesh is both faster to install and more economical than panel fencing on long runs and sloping ground.
Woven wire mesh is not welded. The wires are bent at set angles and interlocked with one another, and that flexible structure lets the mesh follow the slope of the ground. Where a panel fence needs a separate step at every change in level, woven mesh runs down most inclines in a single unbroken line.
What determines the life of the system is not only the wire but the tension on it. If the line wires are not pulled tight enough the mesh sags over time and leaves a gap along the bottom edge. That is why we set corner and end posts in concrete footings and tension every line wire individually.
